BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE PICNIC SESSION

Ever wondered what went into a collaborated session? Kayla’s Kaptivations LLC and Elizabeth Thi Photography LLC collaborated on the Picnic Session to capture all the emotions and energy from all the beautiful women that participated.

Women have to stand together to empower and support each other and that’s what this session was about. With a second photographer, Elizabeth Thi’s vision was able to come to life.

After asking women to participate, and creating a game plan, it was time to get all the picnic equipment. Picnic cloth, baskets, sun hats, fruit and lemonade. Then, it’s time to set up before all the ladies showed up!

Next, we had the women sit around the fruit and lemonade and introduce themselves with some icebreakers! As the women talked and had fun getting to know each other, Elizabeth and I took photos from different angles and captured ever laugh and smile that we could!

As the sun was setting, we decided to move the party to the field! The picture above was to show that all women are united. It doesn’t matter what side of town you’re from, what school you go to, or if you’re a mom or not. All that matters is that you support other women with their dreams.

Without all the women in my life, I would not be where I am today.
